I love having the chance to be connected to little people before they even arrive earth side. Maternity sessions are one of my favorite because there is something so special and powerful about a woman who is carrying a new life. She is never more connected to the earth and the universe then when she is with child. I had an amazing time capturing the essence of this soon to be changed family. And soon, I will be privileged to see a new soul enter this world.
And may I just say this earth mama rocked her session!

I know I have completely neglected my blog. It is partly due to being on maternity leave and partly because I will be updating my blog soon. But I just couldn't keep this tiny squish off of the blog :) He was in a hurry to get out so he had some bruising on his face but non the less little Shaun is as precious as the come :) I must say Shaun was one of the easiest babies to photograph. I'm sure that the fact he was only four days new had a lot to do with it. And while Shaun nursed I got to spend some time with amazing, always on the move, big sister, Hellyne :) Enjoy.

This is the little girl I saw just minutes after she was born and I can't believe how much she changed in just 10 days. She was super alert and her favorite activity is nursing :) But we did get her to sleep for enough time to get some awesome sleepy shots. I just can't get enough of her cuteness!

This little princes arrived right at 37 weeks. So she was super tiny and just oh so precious. Did I mention she was one of the best sleepers too?? We had a wonderful session!

Not only was this cutie born on my son's b-day but she might just have the cutest head of hair I've ever seen. She was super calm and content during her session and slept like a champ. She is so stinkin' adorable!!
